The Information Technology Services group of Southcentral Foundation focuses on delivering reliable technology resources and support to the employees and customers of SCF. There are four key areas of the department.
The IT Service Desk is the first line of support for all technology resources within SCF. All customers are able to contact us through a single call-center staffed 7am-5pm Monday through Friday, with 24x7 on-call support for emergency situations. The Service Desk is responsible for configuring user accounts, setting up and supporting PCs, laptops, phones and printers for our customers. Customers may also submit service requests directly via email.
The Systems group is responsible for the engineering of all core components of the technology infrastructure. Connecting on and off-campus buildings to our data centers is a core responsibility. Providing these services to the customer requires stable hardware and top-notch designers and engineers. SCF has a wide portfolio of crucial business applications that are housed in our data centers. Disaster recovery is a point of pride within our systems group, relying on advanced networking, server and storage replication that allows recovery from a disaster in record speed.
The Programming office works with our customers to design systems that meet their specific demands. This can range from developing custom, automated reports from existing database resources or building and supporting a database customized for the specific department needs.
The Data Services team transforms data into actionable information for the purposes of achieving the strategic mission and vision of SCF. A team of data analysts work with the customers to identify existing data that can be studied or identify areas that need to be collected for the departments purposes.
These core services in SCF ITS work together to provide access to information and technology resources to further Southcentral Foundation’s mission and vision, providing the highest level of care and service to our customers.
