Access To Recovery
Southcentral Foundation's Access To Recovery (ATR) III Program is an opportunity to introduce customer-owners to activities that support lifelong recovery. Recovery is unique to each person. By partnering with organizations and businesses throughout the community, ATR is able to provide outpatient clinical services as well as a wide range of recovery support services including:
- Cultural enrichment activities (arts and crafts, etc.)
- Support groups
- Parenting classes
- Exercise and wellness activities
- Individual and group counseling
- Life skills instruction
- Faith-based approaches (pastoral counseling, etc.)
- Vocational skills training
- Substance use recovery classes and/or groups
- Educational enrichment opportunities (music lessons, etc.)
These recovery support services can benefit individuals who have been or will be discharged from detox and residential care.
ATR Program Eligibility Requirements:
- Alaska Native and American Indian customer-owners and their family member(s)
- Live within the Anchorage Service Unit (Anchorage, Mat-Su Valley, CIRI villages, etc.)
- Low income or underinsured
- Have, or are recovering from, a substance use disorder
Applicants are asked to provide proof of eligibility and to complete a program and intake application. All eligible participants will work with an Access Center staff member to develop a recovery support care plan, which will be followed through the 90-day enrollment period. Participants will also complete a closing assessment after six months.
