Valley Native Primary Care Center
In 2000, SCF became the first major health care provider in Alaska—and one of the first in the nation—to give its customer/owners same-day access to quality medical care for any reason in most departments.
This innovation was extended to Mat-Su Borough residents in February 2005, when VNPCC opened its doors. Like the customers of the Anchorage Native Primary Care Center (ANPCC), the customers of the VNPCC have access to their own health care provider on the same day they call for an appointment.
The clinic is staffed by board-certified family physicians, nurse practitioners, registered dietitians, behavioral health consultant, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and certified medical assistants, as well as management and support staff.
SCF and the Valley Native Primary Care Center (VNPCC) also contracts for primary care services with the following locations:
