MyHealth portal is a health management tool for customer-owners. The portal provides limited access to health records, such as lab results, current medications, and past procedures, that can be accessed anywhere with an Internet connection. Customer-owners can also schedule and view current appointments with primary care providers. Scheduling appointments with specialty clinics, like dental and optometry, is unavailable at this time.
Parents can register their children for portal access, which makes keeping track of the whole family’s medical appointments and records more convenient. For children under 13 years of age, parents can request to have proxy access to their children’s account. Parents can have proxy access to their child’s portal if they are over 13, but due to minors’ privacy rights in Alaska, the child and the parent must both be present at the clinic to approve access for the parent.
MyHealth portal is easily accessed through Southcentral Foundation’s website by clicking on the MyHealth link at the top of the page. Customer-owners who haven’t signed up for MyHealth should request access from their provider. MyHealth is also available on mobile devices through the app HealtheLife, which can be found in the Apple App store for iPhones and Google Play for Androids.
