A comprehensive safe home program for victims of domestic violence, Willa’s Way serves Alaska Native and American Indian women and their children who are homeless due to domestic violence. Children under the age of 18, including boys, are considered for admission with their mother. In this supportive, confidential and safe environment, program participants learn to become self-sufficient. Comprehensive services include:
- Intense case management involving housing
- Mental health counseling
- Group counseling addressing a range of topics including parenting, domestic violence, relationships, community resources, life skills, health and wellness.
