Southcentral Foundation’s Native Men’s Wellness Program is dedicated to improving the health of Alaska Native and American Indian men through events and training that address the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of their lives.
Today, Southcentral Foundation is providing a network of community and support around inmates in Alaska and those re-entering society. Through Family Wellness Warriors Initiative’s partnership with Transformational Living Community and Native Men’s Wellness Program, many incarcerated people and those in transition are finding hope and making lasting change.
In 2014, Southcentral Foundation Native Men’s Wellness Program was established to help Native men in their journey to physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness.
The Rasmuson Foundation’s mission is “To promote a better life for Alaskans” and supports nonprofits that are focused and effective in the pursuit of their goals.
Tyler Uppaaruluk Young; Tsimshian, Eagle Clan from Metlakatla and Sugpiaq (Alutiiq) from Port Graham; grew up in Anchorage and spent time in Juneau as a young adult.
