Cleft Lip and Palate Program
Alaska’s Cleft Lip and Palate Program is the first state endorsed cleft lip and palate program in Alaska. This program holds nine clinics per year, allowing parents and their children the most comprehensive evaluations possible through integrated team care. The team includes an audiologist, ear, nose and throat specialist, speech language pathologist, behavioral health consultant, nutritionist, pediatrician, pediatric dentist, oral surgeon, plastic surgeon, orthodontist, and a parent navigator to assist families.
Alaska’s Cleft Lip and Palate Program is open to all Alaska residents.
C’eyiits’ Hwnax Life House Community Health Center
In partnership with the Chickaloon Village Traditional Council, SCF co-manages health care services offered to the communities between Palmer and the Eureka Roadhouse. C’eyiits’ Hwnax Life House, in Sutton, became a designated Federally Qualified Health Center in 2016. The C’eyiits’ Hwnax Life House Community Health Center offers high-quality services for everyone in the community, at any stage of life.
