Surplus Sales
Southcentral Foundation’s Procurement and Materials Department is responsible for the disposal of Southcentral Foundation’s surplus items, vehicles, and properties. The information on this page explains how to purchase these items from Southcentral Foundation.
Sales to Tribal Entities and Nonprofit Organizations
In support of Tribal entities and nonprofit organizations, Southcentral Foundation offers new sales exclusively to these organizations, priced at, or below fair market value, for a period of 4 to 10 days. This allows eligible organizations the time to view and purchase surplus items prior to them being offered to the general public through an online bidding auction.
Southcentral Foundation reserves the right to request supporting documentation for verification of eligibility.
To qualify, your agency must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Tribal entities must be located within the United States (this is inclusive of all Tribal entities and village organizations).
- Nonprofit groups must be classified as tax-exempt under section 501(c) of the United States tax code, and possess a current business license issued by the licensing authority in your state.
The intent of sales to Tribal entities and nonprofit organizations is that no single individual is to profit from a purchase. By participating in this sales process, you are attesting that your purchase of Southcentral Foundation’s surplus items is solely intended for the use of the Tribal entity or nonprofit organization represented. Southcentral Foundation reserves the right to suspend sales to any Tribal entity or nonprofit organization in violation of this clause.
