Primary Care Clinics

In 2000, Southcentral Foundation became the first major health care provider in Alaska — and one of the first in the nation — to offer same-day access to quality medical care in most departments.

Your primary care provider and their team includes a full-time RN case manager who focuses on care coordination, and a case management support who will schedule your appointments. Additionally, new members can be added to your team as your health care needs change. For example, your RN case manager can refer you to a pharmacist, nurse midwife, chiropractor, and other specialists.

With SCF’s commitment of high-quality services, family wellness, and shared responsibility, the organization depends on more than just Indian Health Service (IHS) funding. In addition to private insurance, there are other family health resources you may qualify for, such as Medicaid, Denali KidCare, Under 21 Medicaid, Social Security, Medicare, and Disability. Visit Family Health Resources for more information about third-party insurance.
