Your blood pressure is recorded as two numbers. The first number is called systolic blood pressure, which indicates how much pressure your blood is exerting against your artery walls when the heart beats. The second number is called diastolic blood pressure, which indicates how much pressure your blood is exerting against your artery walls between heart beats. The American Heart Association recommends eating two 3 oz. servings of fatty fish per week. Examples of fatty fish are albacore tuna, herring, lake trout, mackerel, sardines, and salmon.
